Siemens - an English Setter in bloom

Welcome to the personal homepage of my dog, Siemens. Siemens is an English Setter, born in 1991 or 1992.

Siemens came to me four years ago - when he was seven - after his previous owner grew tired of him and decided to, well, shoot him actually. Luckily, someone who knew me rescued Siemens, and shortly afterwards he arrived at my place.

Siemens Siemens is always friendly towards everyone, familiy or strangers, seniors or children. He loves the attention he's getting when we are travelling by train, or just walking in the parks nearby from where we live. He is always following me around, even into the bathroom, but he is also used to being alone (as long as he is not left somewhere unfamiliar).

He love to play with others, both people and dogs, and to hunt. Unfortunately, he also love to chase cats. Myself I grew up with at least two cats in the house at any time, and I have always thought of myself as a cat person. My parents still have cats, so every time we're visiting its quite a circus.

After I got Siemens I have become very aware of the thousands of dogs who are neglected around us. Whether they are being physically mistreated, or simply left tied up day in and day out outside the house of their owner, they are not living a good life. They are often suffering from diseases, hunger and loneliness. Please consider to help out by adopting a dog instead of buying a new one, contact a rescue organization where you live.
